I can honestly say that  I have no idea why we dont have school on Martin Luther King Jr day. I guess we honor things by staying home? Mabey the point is to stay home with your family, and be kind to others. My primary source is http://www.mlkonline.net/. He has the best speeches like I Have A Dream. “It is obvious today that America has defaulted on this promissory note insofar as her citizens of color are concerned”, that is one of his famous lines in I Have A Dream.
